Club-Sponsored Events Special Events November 16: Trick Dog Novice Testing, Loveland, CO GSMDCR is partnering with Everything Dog Training Center to provide a trial for Swissy owners and their Swissy to earn the Trick Dog Novice (TKN) title! Basic equipment will be available for tricks; owners must bring specialized equipment for specific tricks (e.g. giant box if you plan to have your dog jump in a box). Canine Good Citizen will also be available. Cost per test per dog will be $20. Please RSVP by November 5, 2025 to [email protected]. Additional details will be provided via email to registrants. December 2025: Swissmas Holiday Pawty The Club will once again host a holiday event to bring our families and Swissies together in holiday cheer. Join us for a puppy gift exchange and to mingle with other Club members to celebrate the holidays and ring in the New Year! Pack Hikes Visit the GSMDCA web site for the Pack Hike rules and regulations as well as other great information. Members are encouraged to coordinate & join the hikes either for an official leg or to just get out with your dogs! You do not need to complete all the distance if you are joining for fun November 15, 2025: Fall Fun Hiking Black Forest Section 16 in Colorado Springs. All are welcome to observe or participate in a "fun run" or "instinct" test. Fun runs for non-members will be $15 per dog for one run and are FREE for members who RSVP to [email protected].
